How to Search Cases by Name
Begin with Search ARCourts, the official public tool. Its Participants mode lets you search by personal name or organization. Type the narrowest reliable name first. Then check each Bradley County result. Match it against the court, case number, case type, filing date, and status. A shared name alone proves nothing about who owns the record.
- Choose Participants in the official Search ARCourts interface.
- Enter last name and first name, adding a middle name only when it helps narrow the set.
- For an entity, use Organization or Case Description instead of forcing its name into personal-name boxes.
- Use Bradley County and court filters if the live dynamic interface offers them.
- Open a possible match and confirm the court, case number, category, filed date, and status.
The interface publishes no wildcard rules, result limits, or full filter list. So do not assume partial-name matching works in a Bradley County case search. Try spelling variants and initials. If doubt remains, call the Bradley County clerk.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Options or Format Notes |

| Last Name | Text | Unspecified | Participant search field. |
| Organization or Case Description | Text | Unspecified | Alternative entity or description input. |
| Tips | Help link | No | Opens official navigation help. |
| Search | Button | Conditional | Runs the entered criteria. |
Bradley County Case Search Fields
Use the personal fields for a person. Use the organization field for a business, agency, or other entity. That split matters in Bradley County. An entity name typed into First Name or Last Name can bury a solid match. Start with the surname or the full organization name. Add a first or middle name if the first Bradley County result set comes back too broad.
The live application may reveal more case, filing, court, or date choices once you interact with it. Those controls are not guaranteed fields. Treat them as options, not promises. For interface help, the Tips link is the official source. Search ARCourts also documents Safari pop-up troubleshooting for documents that will not open. Allow pop-ups for the official domain only, not for every site you visit.
Note: The interface publishes no field requirements, so every Required value stays unspecified.
Bradley County Name Search Choices
A Bradley County name search can return several public cases. Compare identifiers before you open or trust a result. Court level decides a lot. Circuit Court holds felony, major civil, domestic-relations, probate, juvenile, and District Court appeal files. District Court, Warren Department, holds traffic, misdemeanor, ordinance, preliminary felony, small-claims, and limited civil matters.
Try spelling variants. An old record may use initials, punctuation, or a former entity name. Too many Bradley County results? Add a middle name, court, case category, or date if the live tool offers those controls. No result at all? Strip the narrow criteria and search the other court level. A Bradley County felony can start with a District Court first appearance. It may later pick up a separate Circuit Court prosecution. Two linked entries are not always duplicates.
Match the record, not just the name. Confirm court, case number, case type, filed date, and status in every Bradley County case lookup.
How to Search by Case Number
A Bradley County case number is the strongest lookup key. That holds when the live interface offers number search. Copy it straight from the citation, summons, order, filed notice, an old docket printout, or clerk correspondence. Enter every letter, digit, and separator exactly as recorded. No verified number pattern or code dictionary is published, so invent no sample format.
When you request help from a Bradley County clerk, keep the exact portal case number. Name the court level too. A number with no court named can still misroute a request. Circuit and District Court run separate case systems. If the number fails online, check your transcription, search by participant, and call the clerk's office. Ask whether the matter is new, archived, on paper, sealed, restricted, corrected, or indexed under an older system.
Bradley County Court Search Filters
A Tenth Judicial Circuit judge may serve Ashley, Bradley County, Chicot, Desha, and Drew Counties. Judge name alone is a weak Bradley County filter. Pick Bradley County and the right court. Do so whenever the live interface offers those choices. The Bradley County Circuit Clerk keeps the local record. That holds even when a judge's listed office sits elsewhere in the circuit.
The lower court has a regional structure too. Bradley County is the Warren department of the 28th State District Court. That court also covers Drew County. For a traffic or misdemeanor record, the Warren department is the useful label. For a Circuit felony or major civil file, choose Bradley County Circuit Court. Choosing the court first usually beats piling more name terms onto an uncertain match.
What a Case Search Shows
A public Bradley County result is an index to the court file. It may show header details. Participants and counsel may be listed. Case type or charges, filings and events, settings, disposition, and public financial information may appear too. Read the whole chronological event list, not just the last line. An entry like "order filed" proves the event was recorded. It does not reproduce the order's text.
| Court | The Circuit or District court that maintains the public case entry. |
|---|---|
| Case Number | The unique identifier to copy exactly for later searches and clerk requests. |
| Case Type | The category, such as criminal, civil, domestic, probate, juvenile, traffic, or small claims. |
| Filed Date | The date the initiating paper entered the court record, not necessarily a hearing date. |
| Participants | Public parties and roles, subject to access restrictions and redaction. |
| Case Events | Dated filings, orders, settings, and other actions recorded in sequence. |
| Status or Disposition | The recorded stage or outcome, which should be read with the event history. |
A portal printout is not a certified record. Ask the Circuit Clerk or District Court clerk for the document or a certified copy.
Bradley County eFlex Search Limits
Arkansas Judiciary eFlex takes in electronic Bradley County filings, but it is not a public Bradley County case lookup. The site is built for filers with a Bradley County login, so it does not open the docket to everyone.
Authorized filers work through eFlex under Administrative Order 21. Everyone else should use Search ARCourts for case information. For the papers themselves, contact the Bradley County clerk. A filing sent through eFlex stays out of public view until the clerk accepts and enters it. Public access also remains subject to Administrative Order 19. The eFlex CourtReview agreement shows that CourtReview access is restricted and governed by its own terms.
That agreement draws a clear line. It separates Bradley County court workflow from public search. So an eFlex account is no workaround for the limits on public Bradley County case records.
Bradley County Case Event Limits
A Bradley County case event and its filed paper are two different things. The public entry gives you a date and a title. That can guide a request. The pleading, order, judgment, or notice behind it may still require inspection or a copy from the clerk. When no document opens, write down the event date and exact title, then ask the right Bradley County office for a plain or certified copy.
Timing creates gaps too. A new filing may sit in clerk review before it appears. An old case may live on paper, microfilm, or a prior system, and the clerk has announced no Bradley County digitization start date. A missing online case does not mean the case never existed. Try spelling variants, the other court level, and a wider date span. Then use the clerk channel.
Note: The portal's public event list can locate a record, but only the clerk can certify a Bradley County court document.
County vs Statewide Case Search
Bradley County offers no county-branded online case portal. The statewide layer for a Bradley County case search is Search ARCourts. For a known local file, the county layer is direct. Go through the Circuit Clerk or District Court clerk. The two channels complement each other rather than duplicate the same database.
| Search ARCourts Statewide Layer | Bradley County Clerk Layer |
|---|---|
| Searches public information from participating Arkansas courts. | Handles the local Circuit or District case file held by the correct clerk. |
| Best first step for a name or available case-number lookup. | Best for old, new, missing, document-level, or certified-record needs. |
| Shows public summaries and events under Order 19 limits. | Can explain local availability and quote copy or certification charges. |
| Does not guarantee an image for each event. | Can receive a narrow request by counter, phone, confirmed fax, or confirmed mail process. |
For one Bradley County case, call or visit the Bradley County custodian. For compiled statewide data, use the AOC Office of Research and Justice Statistics request route rather than asking a Bradley County clerk to build a bulk dataset.
Bradley County Regional Case Files
The Tenth Judicial Circuit is regional, but Bradley County files stay local. Circuit judges serve a five-county area. A judicial profile may therefore list an office outside Warren. That does not make Bradley County one central regional records office. A Bradley County Circuit Court case remains with the Bradley County Circuit Clerk. A filing from Ashley, Chicot, Desha, or Drew County stays with that county's clerk.
This prevents a common search error. Judge and division details tell you who handles a setting. County and court details tell you where the file lives. When Search ARCourts shows a regional judge, keep Bradley County selected. Then send document requests to the Bradley County office holding the record. For the lower court, use the Bradley County District Court's Warren Department. Do not use a Drew County department within the same judicial district.
Bradley County CourtConnect Transition
Bradley County public access sits in a technology transition. The legacy Public CourtConnect route now points Bradley County readers toward the newer interface. That official page documents the transition route in place.
Old CourtConnect names may still surface in Bradley County notices or bookmarks. Treat Search ARCourts as the current Bradley County public interface. Both names belong to the same statewide access history. The Arkansas Court Automation Programs history traces CourtConnect, eFlex, and the other statewide systems.
The automation record gives Bradley County context, not a promise that every old Bradley County file is online. For archived coverage, confirm with the clerk.
Restricted Cases and Access Rules
Administrative Order 19 starts from public access to Bradley County court records. It excludes material made confidential by federal law, Arkansas law, court rule, or court order. It also protects records holding Social Security numbers, account numbers, and other identifiers. Some Bradley County case types face added limits. Juvenile matters, adoptions, some domestic-relations information, and sealed criminal records may be hidden, masked, or cut to a limited notation.
An empty Bradley County case search proves nothing about whether a protected matter exists. Contact the Bradley County clerk. Do not send confidential data through an insecure channel. Ask which part, if any, is publicly inspectable and whether a court order governs access. Requesting a redacted public portion may preserve access while protected fields stay closed. Clerk staff cannot release sealed content just because a requester knows the number.
Order 19 boundary: Public case information does not waive confidentiality set by statute, court rule, or a specific sealing order.
Bradley County Case Search Failures
Work a failed Bradley County search in order. Check spelling and organization mode. Drop a middle name or tight date. Verify Bradley County and the court level. Search both District and Circuit Court, since a felony path or appeal can create two records. If an event appears without a PDF, note its title and date instead of repeating the same portal search.
- Call the Circuit Clerk at 870-226-2272 for Circuit matters.
- Call the District Court clerk at 870-226-2567 for lower-court matters.
- Visit the correct counter at 101 East Cedar Street, using Suite B for District Court.
- Confirm fax acceptance and payment before using 870-226-8416 or 870-226-8305.
- For mail, ask about the payee, total, return envelope, and correct postal procedure first.
When a Bradley County docket search stalls, call the clerk. Staff can tell you the file's status. It may be new, old, archived, paper-based, sealed, restricted, corrected, or simply outside public portal coverage. Missing a hearing instead? The Bradley County court dates route adds the setting-confirmation chain. Use that path for docket scheduling questions.
Bradley County Certified Case Path
A Bradley County case lookup finds the record. Certifying it is a separate step. For Circuit pleadings, orders, judgments, and docket sheets, ask the Bradley County Circuit Clerk. For Warren Department case records, ask the District Court clerk. Give them the Bradley County case number, the case style if public, and the document title. Add the event date, whether you want a plain or certified copy, your delivery method, and a request for a cost quote.
Want a compiled report instead? The AOC handles those through separate request forms under Administrative Order 19. That route still does not certify a single Bradley County judgment. Transcripts live elsewhere too. The official court reporter prepares the spoken-proceeding record, while the Bradley County clerk supplies the event sheet and filed papers. Decide which product you actually need before paying. That way a portal printout never gets mistaken for official proof.
Bradley County Case Search Changes
Change is underway behind the scenes. The ARCourts Build Initiative lays out the retirement of legacy Public CourtConnect and the new Bradley County case-management route inside the statewide application. The initiative page itself documents that modernization push for Bradley County court records.
Clerks and judges saw the beta in April 2026. Treat that as a statewide milestone only. It is not proof that every Bradley County workflow or screen has already changed. Search through the current official interface. Follow clerk directions rather than assuming features from a future or legacy system.
Old bookmarks, portal labels, and public instructions may lag during the transition. Keep the case number and court name written down somewhere outside your browser. If a once-visible case vanishes from the Bradley County docket, ask the clerk. Access, indexing, correction, or migration may explain the change.
